Everyone is ID verified
Renters verify a government document and a live selfie through Stripe before their first booking. Owners do the same before a listing goes live. Hoopo never sees the document itself.
Money waits until you meet
Your payment is held from the moment you book until you confirm the item is actually in your hands. Nobody gets paid for a handover that never happened.
No deposit to find
A $60 rental costs $60, not $260. Your card is saved rather than charged, so damage can be settled for what it actually costs if it happens.
Change of plan is free
Cancel up to 72 hours before pickup and you get everything back. Cancel later and you'll see exactly what it costs before you confirm, never after.
Lend yours
Your garage is full of other people's weekends
The pressure washer you bought for one afternoon in 2022. The tent from the festival. List it, set a daily rate, choose the days you're happy to lend.
Hoopo's 15% service fee is charged to the renter on top, not taken out of what you're paid. Money reaches your bank through Stripe after the handover.
